Hermitage House began with a few people chatting about starting a school to improve the local standard of education. It is testimony of what a community can achieve when it takes matters into its own hands.
The idea of establishing the school comes from members of the local community.
After a meeting early in 2012, a school founding committee was formed to discuss the feasibility of starting an independent school based on Christian values and quality education principles.
After many months of planning, negotiations and hard work, we are witness to our vision becoming a reality. The School opened its doors in January 2013 with 35 pupils and has grown to over 130 pupils.
With much effort from the teachers, parents and the community our school has grown from strength to strength.
